Diversity Committee:
Works to improve the inclusivity of our Chapter through university-wide outreach including panels and other events!
In recent years, the Diversity Committee has hosted a Women in the Workplace panel and a DE&I panel.

Publicity Committee:
Creates promotional materials for the Chapter and takes part in planning workshops. Opportunities include writing/editing content, creating social media content, helping create the Scripps PRSSA podcast, and more!
In 2022, the publicity committee helped launch Scripps PRSSA’s first-ever podcast, PRoject Scripps. In recent years, the publicity committee has assisted in the creation of the chapter newsletter, PR Success, and led workshops to better educate members on industry skills and trends.

Special Events Committee:
Plans socials, community service events and fundraisers!
Traditionally, the special events committee helps in planning Scripps PRSSA’s annual events such as the homecoming breakfast, pumpkin carving contest, Thanksgiving dinner, ugly sweater social and more. In addition to social events, the special events committee may also assist in Chapter fundraising efforts.
