Below are the faculty and professional advisers for PRSSA at Ohio University. These professionals serve as mentors for Scripps PRSSA members and help to guide our Chapter.
Dr. Eddith Dashiell
Dr. Dashiell has been a faculty member in the School of Journalism since 1992 and currently serves as the School of Journalism’s director. During her 30 years at Ohio University, Dr. D. has held a variety of administrative positions, but her first love is teaching and mentoring her students. Her awards include 1997-1998 Ohio University Professor Award (student-based teaching award); the 2013-2014 L.J. Hortin Faculty Mentor Award from the Scripps College of Communication, and the 2019 Ohio University Chapman Clapp Outstanding Advisor Award.
Hannah Schuller
Hannah Schuller is an account associate at Inspire PR Group, focusing on media and influencer relations for multiple restaurant, hospitality and education clients. She joined Inspire full time as an account coordinator in May 2021 after interning with the agency that spring. Additionally, Hannah is a proud Bobcat who graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with her bachelor’s degree in strategic communication in 2020. During her time at Ohio University, she was involved in the university’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), serving as the chapter’s Vice President of Member Relations her senior year. Hannah is currently involved with the Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where she volunteers on the liaison committee and coordinates student outreach with local PRSSA chapters.
