Chapter Mentor/Mentee Program

PRSSA’s mentor/ mentee program provides further experience to students at every level. Mentors will have the opportunity to gain leadership experience by teaching and sharing their personal experiences. Mentors should have been involved in PRSSA for at least a year and developed skills through classes, extracurricular activities and internships.

Mentees get access to an advanced student who was once in their shoes. Mentors help their mentee by reviewing their resume, recommending classes, teachers and internships, offering advice and just being a friend.

The PRSSA mentor/ mentee program builds long-lasting relationships among students of all levels.

– At least 2 hours of mentorship per month; can be through phone, email, skype or in person over coffee/ lunch etc.
– Program will last the full academic year. After the academic year ends contact is up to the mentor and mentee.
– Attend PRSSA meetings, optional social events

Professional Mentor/Mentee Program

The Scripps PRSSA Professional Mentor Program gives dues-paying members the opportunity to connect with industry professionals. Chapter member are matched based on interests in careers, locations and hobbies. Through the Professional Mentor Program, students are able to gain insights into life after college while building their network and developing new connections.
