Below are the faculty and professional advisers for PRSSA at Ohio University. These professionals serve as mentors for Scripps PRSSA members and help to guide our Chapter.

Dan Farkas

Dan Farkas is a Professor of Strategic Communication at Ohio University, where he teaches courses in research, strategy, content creation, measurement and analytics. An alumnus of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, he has over a decade of teaching experience and a background in award-winning journalism, with his work appearing on CNN, MSNBC and SI.com. Under his guidance, the university’s PRSSA chapter has received national recognition, including awards such as Chapter of the Year, Student-Run Firm of the Year, Pacesetter and Star Chapter.

Hannah Schuller

Hannah Schuller is an account associate at Inspire PR Group, focusing on media and influencer relations for multiple restaurant, hospitality and education clients. She joined Inspire full time as an account coordinator in May 2021 after interning with the agency that spring. Additionally, Hannah is a proud Bobcat who graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with her bachelor’s degree in strategic communication in 2020. During her time at Ohio University, she was involved in the university’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), serving as the chapter’s Vice President of Member Relations her senior year. Hannah is currently involved with the Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), where she volunteers on the liaison committee and coordinates student outreach with local PRSSA chapters.
