We can’t wait to hear from Ashley Showen tomorrow in Scripps 111.
Ashley Showen graduated magna cum laude in 2011 with a degree in public relations from
Ohio University. While at OHIO, Showen was a 4-year member of PRSSA and ImPRessions, and served as vice president of operations for the student firm her senior year.
Currently, Showen is the media buyer/account coordinator at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System in Charleston, W.Va., where she buys and traffics all paid advertising, manages the company’s SEM campaigns and co-manages CAMC’s official social media accounts.
She serves as secretary of the West Virginia chapter of the American Advertising Federation, and is a member of the board of directors for Charleston’s annual arts festival. Showen is also a member of the YWCA Charleston’s marketing committee and young women’s advisory group.
In her spare time, Showen enjoys performing in local community theater productions and is currently training for her first 10k.
