Read on to learn more about our new Senior Assistant Director of ImPRessions!

What has been your experience with PRSSA/ImPRessions? I have been a member of PRSSA and ImPRessions since my freshman year. It has been a crucial part to my growth as a public relations practitioner. The relationships and networking provide so many great opportunities. Freshman year I was an account associate on the backdrop account, participated in the rebrand of the magazine through awareness events and helped with flyer creation and distribution. Sophomore year I was the account executive for the College Book Store account. On this account we conducted three philanthropic weekends based on special events. Event planning, marketing material creation and social marketing were a large part of our duties. Last year I was an account supervisor for Southern Ohio Copperheads, Bird Arena, The House and College Book Store

Advice for incoming freshman? Advice for incoming freshman is to appreciate the four years you have at OU; it truly flies by. It feels like I was living in my little shoebox of a room in Washington just yesterday and now I’m suddenly a senior!! Take in every minute of Athens

Hobbies? My hobbies include cheerleading, yoga and cooking

Favorite OU Memory? My favorite OU Memory is being a cheerleader for the OU Men’s Basketball team when they made it to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and getting to be on the court for an amazing experience!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? In ten years I see myself working in Pittsburgh as the head of marketing and public relations at my family’s business, Yerecic Label. Also, I hope to start my own adventure in event planning/wedding planning

What is your biggest pet peeve? My biggest pet peeve is laziness; your success is measured by how hard you are willing to work for it!

What is your favorite show? My favorite show is Pretty Little Liars – the plot just keeps twisting and turning!

Who is your PR Idol? I don’t know if I have a PR idol, the public relations field is so diverse that jobs and responsibilities vary. However, I respect Kelly Cutrone for her fearlessness in taking on new endeavors. Also, I think Stephanie Cutter (deputy Campaign Manager for President Barack Obama) shows that women can hold places of power within political PR

What is an interesting fact about you that not many people know? An interesting fact about me is that I am one of seven kids in my family

If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be? If I were an ice cream flavor I’d be vanilla with dark chocolate and raspberry swirls… because it’s my favorite of course!

What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal is a dog. Pretty plain I guess but no other animal can beat the affection your puppy gives you after a long day

PRSSA agrees with Kristin on that last one, dogs are the best! If you would like to connect with Kristin, tweet her @yerecick
