Why did you decide to run for eboard?: I decided to run for eboard because I really wanted to give back to the organization that has taught me everything I know about the wonderful world of PR. I love the chapter and everyone in it, they’ve become some of my best friends over the past two years. I wanted to take my involvement to the next level and promote the passion and friendship within the organization that I have experienced.

Career Goals? Social media is my one true PR love. I would love to either work at a mid-sized agency doing social media work or have a job as a social media strategist. Working in the health/fitness industry would be a cool gig, too.

Favorite Spot on Campus? So I’m kind of obsessed with all of campus, but if I HAVE to narrow it down I’d say West Green and Court Street. West Green is where I had so many awesome freshman year memories and it’s a place I’ll always connect with. Court St. is amazing because it’s the one place where you can experience one of a kind stores and restaurants that are special to only Bobcats.

Favorite Singer/Band? I love all different types of music and my taste changes all the time, but my favorites right now would probably have to be Mayday Parade and Grouplove. I’m also loving Coldplay’s new album!

Campus Involvement? I’ve been involved in PRSSA and ImPRessions for two years now and I also work at Ping as a facility assistant. In the past, I’ve served as the Vice President of AWC and part of the Backdrop marketing team.

Hobbies? I enjoy working out, playing guitar, listening to music/going to concerts, watching Gossip Girl, blogging, and reading. Oh and eating, which leads me to….

Favorite Athens food joint? BIG MAMMAS. The amount of money I’ve spent at that place is actually ridiculous.

How many siblings do you have? I have one little sister who’s 17 and one little brother who’s 13.

Most Embarrassing Moment? A few weeks ago I was assigned to hose down the pool deck at the rec center I work at during the summer. When I went to turn on the water, I didn’t realize the hose came on automatically and I ended up spraying water all over a lady who didn’t have bathing suit on. I apologized like a million times, luckily she wasn’t upset at all!

Favorite thing about being a Bobcat? Absolutely everything. I love the alumni. I have multiple relatives that went to OU, including my grandparents and my dad, and it’s cool having a connection with this school that dates as far back as the 1950’s. I love that being a Bobcat is a special thing that creates a bond with other Bobcats unlike any other. We’re the hardest working people you’ll ever meet and after we give you our all, we’ll show you how to have the funnest time of your life. I love Athens and how the small town creates a family atmosphere with the students. I love how it’s not four years, it’s for life. OU? Oh yeah!
