This week Scripps PRSSA had the pleasure of welcoming two alum, Annie Robinson and Cody Nash, back to campus to speak about their professional experiences working for a Marcus Thomas LLC, a full-service advertising agency based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Annie Robinson is a prOUd graduate from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism with a bachelors in Strategic Communication. She started an internship with Marcus Thomas during her post-grad summer to try out an agency. She was then hired on as an assistant account executive in August. She lives in Aurora, Ohio, where she grew up, and is getting married in June 2019. She is also actively involved in the Wigs For Kids Organization in Cleveland.
Cody Nash is an Ohio University graduate with a dedicated interest in the Athens community. He has several years of experience in both the IT and Digital Production worlds. Demonstrating a mastery of digital arts, Cody is always willing to step in and help developers communicate effectively with their account team and clients to get projects done under budget and on time. Cody loves dogs, pork, good beer and Rock And Roll!

- “Agency life is a lot of work, but it is also a lot of fun!” Annie Robinson said she was initially intimidated by agency life, but now she loves the work she gets to do and that when you enjoy the work you’re doing it is a lot of fun.
