It’s that time of year again! It’s time to put on your “eating pants” and give thanks for all you have because next Monday, November 19, 2018, is the Annual Scripps PRSSA Thanksgiving Dinner. This event has, and will continue to, go down in history as one of the most classic, most celebrated holidays in all of Scripps PRSSA. From chowing down on the best food of the semester (no more microwavable meals!) to cozying on up with your favorite PRSSbAes, it’s about to be a blast.

First time dining with Scripps PRSSA for Thanksgiving? That’s okay! This guide has everything you need to know. So sit back, relax, and get ready to gobble.

Dress cute-comfy

One of the most important rules of Thanksgiving dinner is to dress cute-comfy (emphasis on the comfy). This means grabbing your “eating pants” (i.e. leggings, baggy pants, jeans that don’t look weird after you unbutton them to make room for more turkey, etc.) and a cute, oversized sweater in order to walk to 125 N. Congress St. to eat until your tummy is full (and your heart is, too)!

Bring a dish to share

A Thanksgiving dinner wouldn’t be dinner without food! To make this happen, we ask that every member who comes to this annual event also brings a dish to share with their friends. (Don’t worry if you haven’t signed up yet! Sign up here.

Serve the least as we feast

canned

While enjoying copious amounts of food and friendship at the Annual Scripps PRSSA Thanksgiving is an important tradition, it is equally as important to remember those members of our Bobcat family who won’t have a hefty helping of side dishes this Thanksgiving. As members of the Bobcat community, we strive to help our fellow Bobcats in any way we can. This is why, in addition to your meal to share, you should to bring your canned goods to be donated to this year’s collection for the OHIO Food Pantry!
