Jenni Rumer is a Customer Content Services Manager at PR Newswire, managing the day
to day operations for a Content Specialists who are focused on processing news releases, supporting customers, and consultative selling. Jenni graduated from the University of Akron with a BA in Mass Media Communication and Dance and joined PR Newswire in 2006 as a Member Services Representative. Jenni was promoted to the inside sales team in late 2006, where she was tasked with counseling and educating prospects and converting them into new members while selling across PR Newswire’s suite of services. In 2007, Jenni took on a different inside sales role managing a territory of accounts, focusing on retention and expansion before taking on a management role in 2009. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, Jenni is currently responsible for interviewing and hiring new staff, many entry level, helping them develop the necessary professional skills to enable career growth with the company. Jenni is also a management sponsor of PR Newswire’s internship program.
Amanda Stefanik is a 2012 graduate of the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Amanda 
graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Journalism- public relations and specializations in marketing and political science. While at Ohio University Amanda completed four internships with the Miss Universe Organization, The Lippman School, TheCelebrityCafe.com and The Ohio University Center for Teaching and Learning. In addition, Amanda was involved on the executive boards of both PRSSA and ImPRessions, was a member of AVW’s “Straight Up” and the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and hosted the 2012 Ohio University Leadership Awards Gala. Amanda currently is an Inside New Business Development Representative at the Cleveland office of PR Newswire. In her position, Amanda works with clients in a variety of industries on ways to enhance their marketing and communications efforts.
