What is PRSSA?
PRSSA is an organization raising the next generation of public relations professionals. We are a part of a national organization with Chapters all across the country. Our Chapter, Scripps PRSSA, has even been nationally recognized multiple times in the past six years.
Becoming a Dues Paying Member
It is not required to pay dues to attend our meetings, but doing so opens up a ton of benefits including…

Dues are due October 20th and they are $80.
Meetings
We hold our meetings every Monday night at 6 p.m. in the Friends of the Library Room, which is on the 3rd floor of Alden. Our first meeting will be Sept. 11th and our speaker will be Aaron Brown from Fahlgren Mortine. Fahlgren is a global communications firms and they have a branch in Columbus. Aaron is actually an OHIO graduate and he loves Bobcats.
National Conference
This year’s National Conference will be in Boston. This is hosted by PRSSA National and is our biggest trip every year. The conference is from Oct. 6 – Oct. 10, but an intent to register is due to Scripps PRSSA by Sept. 6. Registrations is $300 and travel costs would be your own responsibility. The estimated total is around $850. Even though the deadlines are close, you are more than welcome to attend.
