Introducing Your 2019-2020 Executive Board!

Sami is a senior studying strategic communication with a marketing minor. She loves being in Athens, walking through College Green, drinking iced coffee from Brenen’s and being around her friends. This summer, she interned with Nationwide Children’s Hospital as their Consumer Marketing Intern. When she wasn’t working, she was most likely binge watching the new seasons of Queer Eye and Stranger Things. Sami is most looking forward to connecting with faculty, friends and alumni for the Scripps PRSSA 50th Anniversary!

Sierra is a senior strategic communication major with a specialization in marketing. She loves being surrounded by nature, drinking a good cup of coffee, indulging in Mexican food and winding down for the night with a long, but necessary, self-care routine. If she’s not at her job at Krile Communications as their Public Relations Intern, she’s spending quality time with her friends and family. She may also be watching Parks and Recreation – funniest show ever. This year, Sierra is looking forward to gaining new friends and strengthening her current relationships.

Hannah is a strategic communication major with a marketing minor and social media certificate. She loves eating lots of ice cream, traveling new places and sitting with a chai latte at Brenen’s. This summer, she was in Columbus working as a Marketing and PR Coordinator at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair. This year in Scripps PRSSA, Hannah is looking forward to connecting with all of our members and furthering our mentor/mentee program.

Katherine is a sophomore double majoring in strategic communication and history. She is also pursuing a museum studies certificate. She loves traveling, sipping matcha lattes and reading good books. This summer, she was the Marketing Intern at Imagination Station in Toledo, Ohio, where she had the opportunity to promote informal STEM education to the Toledo area. This year, Katherine is looking forward to making more memories with her favorite Bobcats.

Haley is a junior studying strategic communication with a marketing minor. She loves ice cream and cats. This summer, she interned at Sephora in San Francisco, CA on the editorial team as a Copywriting Intern. This year, Haley is looking forward to meeting new members and celebrating 50 years of Scripps PRSSA.

Sydney is a senior studying strategic communication with specializations in marketing and visual communication. She loves Luke Combs, rottweilers, tacos and travel. But most importantly, she loves Mondays at 6 o’clock because that’s when she gets to see all of her PRSSA besties. She is the Internal Communications and HR Intern for Welltower Inc. This year, Sydney is looking forward to International Conference in San Diego, CA.

Vivian is a junior studying strategic communication with a retail merchandising and fashion product development minor and a social media certificate. She loves traveling, watching reality TV, shopping and drinking a vanilla chai from Donkey. This summer, she worked as the Field Marketing Intern at Allied Global Marketing. She also spent time working as a stylist at J. Crew, visiting friends and family, and eating lots of ice cream. This year, Vivian is looking forward to meeting new members and going to Scripps PRSSA events.

Kate is a senior studying strategic communication with a specialization in sports administration and a social media certificate. She loves eating Chipotle and Chick-fil-A, hanging out in Schoonover with her PRSSA friends, reading a good book on the beach and watching any type of reality TV show. This summer, she worked as the Communications Intern for Ohio University’s University College. This year, Kate is looking forward to planning PRSSA events and socials that will help our members grow personally and professionally.

Jakob is a double major in strategic communication and communication studies. He loves Athens and his roommate’s corgi has also stolen his heart recently. This summer, he has been working, writing and spending a lot of time meeting new people in Athens. This year, Jakob is excited to collaborate with his fellow e-board members.

Sydney is a senior studying strategic communication. She is also the current 2019-2020 VP of Public Relations of Scripps PRSSA.
